Do not Say German Times, Ask German Times

In this lesson, we will cover the topic of Asking German Hours and Telling German Hours. In our previous video lessons, we already learned how to say the hours in German. In this lesson, we will do a little more practice, create mutual dialogues, and finish this topic.

We only wrote full-time and half-hour clocks to tell the previous German hours.
If the current German hours are in your position, I will teach you exactly how to say minutes and how to say quarterly clocks.

Quarter stay - Quarter past

German Quarterly hours are said according to the following method.

Es ist Viertel nach / vor .......

In the above pattern, the word nach is used in the sense of "passing" and the word "vor" is used in the meaning of "kala-var".
If you leave a blank with dots, what time is there a quarter or if the hour is a quarter past the hour.

Examples:
Time is five quarters: Es ist Viertel nach fünf
It's eight o'clock in the quarter: Es ist Viertel nach acht
Quarter four quarters: Es ist Viertel nach vier
There is a quarter to five o'clock: Es ist Viertel vor fünf
Quarter to quarter: Es ist Viertel vor acht
There is a quarter of an hour: Es ist Viertel vor vier
They can be said in the form.

minutes
German Hourly minutes are set according to the following example.

Es ist ......... vor / nach .........

Here we will bring the first dot to the minute and the second dot to the hour.
We already know that vor: var-kala and nach: means passing-passing.
