German Numbers (Illustrated)
Numbers in German. Dear friends, we saw numbers in German in our previous lessons and gave many examples. Let's remember it again, from scratch to a hundred.
German numbers, 8th - 9th - 10th grade German numbers
0: null (nul)
1: eins (ayns)
2: zwei (svay)
3: drei (dray)
4: vier (fi: Ir)
5: fünf (fünf)
6: sechs (zeks)
7: sieben (zi: bIN)
8: acht (aht)
9: neun (no: yn)
10: zehn (seiyn)
11: elf (elf)
12: zwölf (zvölf)
13: dreizehn (drayseiyn)
14: vierzehn (fi: ırseiyn)
15: fünfzehn (fünfseiyn)
16: sechzehn (zeksseiyn)
17: siebzehn (zibseiyn)
18: achtzehn (ahtseiyn)
19: neunzehn (noynseiyn)
20: zwanzig (svansig)
In the numbers above, note the difference in the spelling of 1, 16, and 17 numbers.
(Compare with the numbers 6 and 7, you will see that eins => ein, sieben = sieb and sechs = sech) Numbers after twenty are obtained by putting the word "und" meaning "and" between the ones and the tens.
But here, unlike in Turkish, one comes first.

21: ein und zwanzig (ayn und svansig) (one and twenty = twenty one)
22: zwei und zwanzig (svay und svansig) (two and twenty = twenty two)
23: drei und zwanzig (dray und svansig) (three and twenty = twenty three)
24: vier und zwanzig (fi: ır und zwanzig) (four and twenty = twenty four)
25: fünf und zwanzig (fünf und svansig) (five and twenty = twenty-five)
26: sechs und zwanzig (zeks und svansig) (six and twenty = twenty-six)
27: sieben und zwanzig (zi: bin und svansig) (seven and twenty = twenty seven)
28: acht und zwanzig (aht und svansig) (eight and twenty = twenty-eight)
29: neun und zwanzig (noyn und svansig) (nine and twenty = twenty-nine)
As you can see here, first we write the number in the one step, we add the word “und ve and we write the step.
This rule applies to all the numbers up to the hundredth (for 30-40-50-60-70-80-90).
In the meantime we wrote the numbers separately (ie neun und zwanzig) to make it clearer and clearer, but in fact these numbers are written together.
(eg: neunundzwanzig). We will write the numbers after this, usually combined.

Note also the difference in the spelling of the numbers 30,60 and 70 above. These numbers are written in this way continuously. Let's continue where we are now:

Since our rule is the same, you can make the same examples very comfortable for 40,50,60,70,80,90 numbers in the same way.
